All American Pie Smoothie

My brother is obsessed with cereal – it’s the only thing he’ll eat for breakfast, and it has to be the one particular flavor of cereal he considers cool at the moment, which can drastically change at any time. Right now, that special cereal appears to be Cinnamon Toast Crunch, as that’s the cereal he recently got.

When I saw the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch sitting in the kitchen, filling the room with that cinnamon – sugar aroma, I knew I had to find some way to use it in a smoothie. At first, I was thinking something simple with vanilla yogurt, but on late – start Wednesday I went and got an apple cinnamon yogurt at the grocery store, and that inspired me to do something interesting.

All American Pie Smoothie

This smoothie is inspired by raspberry and apple – cinnamon pie: two American classics.

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 Chobani Apple Cinnamon flavor Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 4 – 6 ice cubes

Blend until smooth.
