My dad has an unfortunate habit of buying cereals and never eating them. So when he bought a box of Cranberry Almond Crunch recently, I had this itch to use it somehow. It bothers me when we buy food and just waste it, as if a starving child in Africa could have eaten that food had we not bought it. My mom thinks this is ridiculous, but I just feel guilty if we waste food.
So, I decided to use the cereal in a smoothie! I know this seems weird, but as long as you blend it for long enough it tastes great!
- 1 Odwalla vanilla protein monster soymilk drink
- 1/2 cup Post Great Grains Cranberry Almond Crunch cereal
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
Blend until all ingredients are crushed. Texture will be thin. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
