Chocolate and cherries taste good together. Chocolate and almonds taste good together. (Come to think of it chocolate and almost anything tastes good together!) So I decided to combine all three into one smoothie. The result: a decadent, sophisticated-tasting smoothie that’s perfect for a dessert-y breakfast or a healthy dessert.
Chocolate Cherry Almond Butter Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 raspberry Greek yogurt
- 1 tbl dark chocolate almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup frozen dark sweet cherries
- ice (I only needed one ice cube along with the frozen cherries)
Directions:
Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.
Take a sip. Ahh… refreshing and delicious!
